Bon Voyage Couzies..

My cousins are leaving early in the morning tomorrow. Awww... Can't sent them off at the airport so we met up today. I hope they liked the stuff I got for them. Heee! We met up a few times but time spent with them was still really little. Isabel (my look-alike) stayed overnight last Tuesday. We used the com and I was introduced some weird banana song ?.?... We crapped the whole night through. Anyway her school's way different from over here. She's in an international school so she gets to mix around with British, Americans, KOREANS!! *ahhhhh* Both her and her sis speaks with an accent, especially the younger one, Anabel. We only get to see each other once a yr during their hols. The shitty thing is, when it's their hols, it's sch for me, and vice versa. When our hols do meet, the weather there is wet and freezing. They can't come over cuz their Dad's busy with Christmas stuff there. Hopefully I can go over to visit them some time =D. Raaaaaa..gonna miss them!! =(

Well, Siew Mai's birthday is tmrw. Happy B'day to her! Lol =D Jo and I are gonna get her 1 yr supply of siew mais..lol! Jkjk.. Today, Mom got ear studs for me from SK..0.0! I don't dare to wear them cause I have a knack of losing small things. She's got me an early B'day present this yr. Last yr, I got my hp. This yr, my birthday's gonna fall in between all the exams..lol! =/ Most of the time, Mom would just give me an ang bao. She wanted to get me a ring but I'm one weird girl who doesn't like wearing rings. hehehe. I think I won't have time to celebrate my birthday this year. So much for 'Sweet 16'. I'm gonna make sure my Sweeter 21 rocks..LOL! Nah..birthday's have always been the same... simple and quite boring at times...Lol! To the point I can't really be bothered at all actually. Bah! Zzz... Aiight, better stop dreaming and start studying...-.-

Drip drip...drip...

Today, I took a shower...in the rain. =DDDD

Ok let me begin from the start. Ytdy, I was dead tired and fell asleep at about 8+, without setting my alarm clock. This morning, my dogs woke me up at around 7.20. I rushed and dear daddy sent me to school. Was 5 min late but thank goodness the chemistry mock exam hadn't started. I didn't revise at all but the Raffles paper was easier than expected. After that, Jace, Min, Garry, Anand, Jabez, Kahpoh and myself took the MRT down to Orchard to look for watches. I was kinda bored at first cause my stomach was empty (When I'm hungry, I'm moody...so don't piss me off before recess..lol!) Anyway Fossil had some nice watches. At about 1, the group broke up and Jace, Min and KP went back. It was still early and I didn't feel like going back. Moreover, Siewmai's b'day was coming up and Jo had asked me to look out for something nice. So the rest of us continued our quite aimless walk. Then Garry started hiccuping non-stop..lol! We stopped to get a drink at Sweettalk, then we all decided there was nothing more and so we headed home. Anand and Jabez took the MRT while Garry and I went across the road to take a bus. Hardly 5 minutes, my bus came. Bid gdbye to Garry and went up. It started raining and I was freezing. Holding the vanilla ice-blended drink I had bought made the blood in my fingers almost ice-blended too. I took out my extra shirt and wrapped it around my hands. At the bus-stop I alighted, the rain was beating so hard into the shelter that my legs got all wet. I had this sudden urge to go for a swim, so I ran out with my extra shirt covering my bag. I ran pass the row of shops and I was too "paiseh" to look around but I could feel many many many pairs of eyes staring at me. I tell ya it was as if I was doing some filming.. LOL! Damn shiok la! It's been an awful long time since I got myself soaked in the rain on purpose. I used to hang out with my primary school friends at the canal or playground or park after school and play in the rain. There was once in my previous house, the rooftop of the carpark (which is a park) used to flood during heavy downpours. Bro and I would take our fighting fish up there and let them out for a swim. It was such a joy la! I love my childhood! <33333! Anyway back to the story, I reached home, panting and laughing at the same time. Mom and Grandma saw me and they were like "aiiyooo, what happen to u!??"...Lol!! Just when I wrapped a towel around myself, Jabez smsed. Apparently he was stuck in CWP because of the rain. I was too lazy to sms back so I just called. Lol! Chatted for a good 15 to 20 min. He was walking around CWP and I was still extremely high. We talked a little about the present, chalet, and even genting..lol! Yall are planning to go there right?? *eyes wide open*

Anyway I washed my hair the 2nd time today and was just in time for my Korean show. Right now, dad wants to take us to ~Prata Place~ for dinner...Hwuuuuu! Got to get ready..TATA!!

=/

BAH! The expired chocolate has put up several heymath assignments again!

About mission "santhapresent", I've heard from some ppl that there are ppl in class who do not want to chip in. How about we find out from the class first, who wants or refuses to chip in? Those who don't care probably aren't interested in the chalet too. And is organising the chalet straight after our o levels a good idea? Santha will be busy with her wedding preparations and all. If it's not booked yet, maybe we could postpone it?

And... Today's Physics mock paper was SOOO EASY! I could do EVERY question WITHOUT a hitch! I think I should be able to PASS WITH FLYING COLOURS!! =XXX Yaaaaa righhhtt! My marks are probably flying away now... =/ Chem tmrw, A maths on mon, and Bio on tues. I haven't even got time to check my set 6 - 10 answers! *YAWN*

CYAHEYMATH!

BAH! I got a question wrong for both assignments. There's a 3rd assignment with 15 questions. I'll be doing that next weekend. This assignment thingy is good for me cause it makes me do my homework. Honestly, I don't do the everyday-hour-homework. =X *guilty conscience* lalala!~ Anyway, is Monday's A maths test on chpt 1-5 or 6-10? Sarah called and asked. Hmm.. Remember to get your English and chem work done. And does devan wanna meet us on Tuesday or something? This is bad. I'm having serious STM. Anyway, time to watch my Korean show..YAHOO! Here's a site if yall are bored. It's where you can find more "Hardgay" and "Jap learning English" crap. =S

Heymath! Don't forget...

There're 2 assignments. One on Amaths chpt 2, the other on chpt 3. One more thing, happy racial harmony day! lol! Uhhh. -.- Doubt any of yall will be wearing ethnic costumes, right? I'll not be wearing anythi- I mean any tradition costume because firstly, I've nothing to wear and secondly, I don't fancy looking like some waitress again. (I wore that black cheong sum and black pants and had chopsticks in my hair, remember?? Forgotten? Ok just as well. =)) Anyway, I've worn ethnic clothes since sec 1 so it's about time I not wear any costume already unless I have some unique costume like that of a Hanbok, Thai costume, Kimono, or some 'ang moh' stuff?!? lol! Sarah suggested wearing leaves; I said animal skin; Jo stuck to her "tube and mini-skirt"; whilst Bao proposed going Hawaiian (you know, you know... coconuts and grass skirt... WOOT! =P) Yea yeaaa, we're imaginative people! HEE!! Those would so invite unnecessary attention! =X Oh well, the weeks are getting busier. I'm kinda looking forward to EL oral. Call me sick if you must. I just hope I don't meet the hippo. Lol!

We had our first speechday rehearsal today. I feel like absenting myself on the actual day and conveniently tell the teacher "I fell ill". Seriously, it's a waste of time! I hate going up on stage anyway. And the school doesn't seem to wanna let us utilise the air-conditioning. What's the use of putting it up then? For show? To 'wow' outsiders like those China people? Chikushou! LOL! Anyway, some sec 5s were pros. They left before everything had even started! Learn, I must! =D LOL! Nah la, I'm a good girl..wahaha! B)

Oh yea, Jo's up to her nonsense again. Must be the after effects of the cracker (read her blog) she ate. She starts telling me she's innocent and serious inside, and even worse, she's acting demure! *face turning green* Lol! So if yall see her behaving strangely or accusing me of "not accepting her for who she is", do understand. =D Hahaha! Oh right! Yall are looking for Ms Santha's present this Sunday right? 10 at cwp?? Jabez was so fickle minded, lol! First he said 3 or 4, then 5, then 7, now 10. =.=! I THINK the shop would be open by 10. Lol!

I've finally gotten my Bio book, thanks to Bao. =D She's not well so here's wishing her a speedy recovery and the best for her piano exams tomorrow. =)

Lastly, about the night-study, who's interested? I'm not so interested in it at the moment but might consider when nearing the exams. There's stuff like time and distance to home I must consider. SUEY! (Wish it was a boarding school! Haha!) Mom will surely allow me, but whether I have the stamina? Heh heh!

Guess that's about it. Later! =)

=S I didn't know it as well...

I reached home at 6.30, exhausted from all the walking and uncomfortable from the humid weather. However, the feelings disappeared as soon as I heard my Dad, Mom and Sis discussing about our roots. It all started cause someone had told my dad he looked like Luis Figo (Portuguese football player). Come to think of it, he does have some resemblance. Anyway Sis then shared that people thought she had Mexican, Brazillian or even Hispanic blood. All along, I thought I was just a mixed of Thai-Chinese and Northern-Indian, but today, Dad started telling us things we never even heard of before. My Great-grandma (dad's side) is actually peranakan, meaning we probably have Portuguese blood. My Dad's uncles married Canadians and British. Dad's father's side might have some British connections too. My Sis looks more Hispanic cause of her eyes but I think I look more oriental. At certain angles, I may look Vietnamese. Then I can look a little caucasian. And there was once Sis said I looked a little Korean. Sis has an olive-undertone but I've a more pinkish-undertone. My elder brother is the only one mistakened for a Malay most of the time. My second brother, however, looks really Thai/Myanmist. No one can tell our race. Even I get confused myself. No one has ever told any of my siblings or me we are part Indian. If we really do have Hispanic blood (damn, how cool is that!?), it probably explains my small petit size..AHAHAHA! =X Anyway, that's Dad's side.

My Mom's side is less complicated. They're mostly from China and Thailand. My Great-Great-Grandma was a concubine during the Qing dynasty. That means I'm a noble...that means I have blue blood...that means I'm a princess! WOOOWWW WWEEEEEE! The funny thing was, when I was in secondary 1, this girl approached me and asked if I had blue blood. I LOVE ME SO MUCH!...HAHAHA!..-___-""

About my relatives? Hmm. They come from all over the globe. Mom's cousins live in USA, Malaysia, UK, Taiwan and China. Dad has relatives from Britain, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Canada and Polland. And then there're those in Singapore. Man, my head's getting dizzy! Guess I'll end already. Hope Dad comes up with more surprises, Lol!

Happenings: 10/7 - 13/7

I was kinda stressed out and nervous over the oral. I was also extremely tired from the lack of sleep. (My brother had taken away my blanket in the middle of the night when I was in the air-con room so I got up and screamed at him..heh!) Anyway the oral turned out quite funny actually. I think my conversation part was not too bad except for one long pause. I was totally stumped during the passage-reading though. It wasn't a difficult passage but nervousness got the better of me. Thank God my examiners were quite friendly! =D Anyway my oral topic was "campus superstar". Others got stuff like "Are teenagers materialistic?", "Are teenagers over-protected?", "library..", "maid abuse..". Today's was "Do you prefer traditional or email greeting cards?". For me, it was quite an appropriate topic since CHR Idol was only just introduced. I went to sit in during the Idol auditions too. I love singing but since I have not much of a music background, I refused to be a judge. It wouldn't be fair to the rest. Actually I did have some comments. Not only for the participants but for the judges. lol! I'm not gonna talk about it here la..hehe!

On Monday, my grandma came over to stay cause she just had an eye operation and there was no one to take care of her at her home. (she's going around with a pair of sunglasses now...Groovy Grandma!..LOL!) Ba Kwa came over to accompany her as well. He kept calling Jabez up (what a nuisance!) so as expected, Jabez and I ganged up against him...hehehe! Oh yea. Happy birthday to Jacelyn, Mindy, Syabil, Jo's Dad, Hui Lun, Big Bro, Sarah, couzie Anabel, Joanne, Siew Mai and my doggies Russell and Joey. Santa's gonna be broke, LOL! jk...uhh! I hope I didn't miss out any names! 0.0

Anyway I'm gonna take this opportunity to announce something regarding Ms Santha. Posting at the forum would be out of the question. Her ROM is on the 2/9, Sat, a day after Teachers' Day. The wedding will be on the 25/11. A few of us thought of preparing something for her. F.Y.I., she also paid $206.50 for the Ikea furniture and I'm not sure how much for the Carnival. So here's what we gonna do...

- Get her a bed =X
- Each person to contribute $20
- Total $740
- $500 for her as an "ang bao"
- $50 for a soft toy bear which can be opened. We'll stuff the money inside.(Jo got the bear for her birthday. She'll show it to yall)
- $190 for food and stuff during the class party on 1/9. Remaining will be for the chalet.
- Also, I've asked Evan to help design a huge card where we'll all sign and whatever. Hope to get all these done by mid Aug.

Overall, it should be Jabez in charged whether he like it or not..muahaha! Jkjk!! We'll all try to help. Objections or other suggestions would be welcomed. Hehe!

That's about it! Gotta mug for ss! Zzz~

*SIGH*

I'MMA SO BOORRRRRRREEEEEEEDDDDDDDDD!!!! =((((( It's gloomy and thundering now. This weather makes me wanna jump into bed and lie there the whole day. I feel piggy. I'm in no mood to read any chinese stuff for oral, though I've been speaking to myself in chinese. 0.0 Anyway as I'd expected, Germany won despite me wanting Portugal to win. Tonight will be THE night. I hope Italy wins!

Ronaldinho's blog

Hey..I was reading the Sunday Life section in the newspapers when I came across some footballer's blogs. It's probably really their blogs although I don't know if they had translators or something. There's a few like Owen's and Michael Ballack's, but Ronaldinho's style of writing is the most humorous. I'll qoute some of the things he wrote:

1) June 7th: "Today we had a videogame and ping pong championship.
It was great fun...everybody had a good laugh.
This fooling around makes the team a more closely knit group."

2) June 7th: "Mineiro [a brazilian player who replaced Edmilson who had to leave the team] was born in Porto Alegre, he-he-he...how do you like that.
He's from my area [Ronaldinho was born there too]."

3) June 8th: "Each day is a day closer to the world cup, and it increases that tingling feeling in your gut. It's cool."

4) June 8th: "Now writing about Germany.
The city of Konigstein (I had to look at the program to see how it's spelled), he-he-he."

5) June 15th: "I heard that everyone gathered in front of the TV at home there in Porto Alegre to watch the match.
A big hug for everyone out there who's cheering for us"

6) June 23rd: "I'm having fun during practice. After the workout with Moraci, that slave driver everyone likes."

7) June 23rd: "There's something I've gotta tell you in this Blog, Emerson is still p... off because he finally lost a videogame. Hehehehe."

8) June 23rd: "Last night I played with Manchester United and won in the penalty shots with Gilberto after two games, then I beat Emerson 1 to 0 and wiped out his mythical invincibility! How could I not razz him about it."

9) June 23rd: "Bah. I was sorry about what happened to Owen in the match against Sweden. When his leg bend inward, I could almost feel it. It looked like rubber. Today I found out that he'll be sidelined for quite a while. Shoot, it could happen to anyone. Even to me. England will miss him badly. There's only one thing to do, keep your chin up and keep going."

10) June 27th: "I try to watch the games in which my team-mates play, but it's hard to cheer for one team when I have friends on both sides. Messi's team, Argentina, won over Mexico, but the problem is that Rafa Marques plays for Mexico.
Like the way I was happy for Deco and his coach Felipão, but sad for Van Bommel and Gio. Hehehe...it ain't easy.
And what about Larson missing the penalty shot on Saturday? Bah. I felt sorry for him.
But that's football. There's always the chance that your team-mates might play against you on their national team.
Well, I hope God protects us tomorrow against Ghana and that we play a great match and move on to the quarter finals.
Roaring fan support will be important.
Good luck to the whole world!"

Here's Ronaldinho's link if yall are interested =D

Btw, Brazil lost...sob sob! =((((. They didn't perform their best. Players like Cafu, Kaka, Ronaldinho seemed lethargic. Poor Ronaldinho had so much pressure during the last freekick. Ronaldo almost got it in but the goal keeper punched it out and Brazil was slow to follow up. Waaaaahhhh!! Why didn't they substitute Robinho, Cicinho or Adriano earlier!! The reserves even won the normal line up players. Dad says Brazil's probably stale after their club level championships. Brazil picked up only towards the end of the match after France scored. Zidane from France played superbly though! =D What a way to exit the Worldcup for Argentina and England!*sigh* The stupid german player podolski injured the argentinian goal keeper. The referee wasn't consistent too. Also, Fifa's bias man! Never let Shamsul into the top 12!! Hmpf! Right now, it's Portugal versus France and Italy versus Germany in the semi-finals. Italy was suprisingly clean in the last match. I'm sort of supporting all the teams that made it except Germany..lol! Right, that's it. Still sore bout Brazil not making it..lol! At least France really fought well la...

Oh yea, my cousins from Nepal is coming back...YAAAYYYYY! Cya ppl~
