YL and her friend(ahem) came down to cartel today. I so wanted to talk to them/serve them but I couldn't since I was the Duty Runner (Definition: checks that others are performing their duties dutifully and person who gets busted by the DM first should any problem surface; alternatively: sees that everything runs smoothly). Not very nice eh? =( Thankfully, everything went quite okay today. No complains, just a few fussy customers. Oh well, customers are ALWAYS right - What crap! lol! =/Joel wanted to know which outlet I worked at. But I thought it was still unsafe to tell. LOL! Oh well... I doubt they'll come down anyway. And even if they do, I won't and can't serve them since I'll be playing Host on Sunday. =) So I work at Cafe Cartel BPP. It's been a thrilling experience there...Lots of juicy news, good ppl, not so good ppl and all sorts of customers. Ahhhh, I will miss some ppl especially!! =(((

On Tuesday, I went to Jo's hse to transfer some files. There, we watched Shrek 2 and Princess Diaries. Must find a day next week to chiong all the episodes of PB2! WOot! The tried-and-tested link I got is http://www.tv-video.net/ . There, you can watch other hits like Heroes, 24, The Office and Desperate Housewives. =)On to Wednesday... Played badminton with Bez, Kexin, Zx, Py and Jie Ning. I collected my spectacles after that and went to check my schedule. At the same time, I told Des I'd be stopping for good. Then I faxed through my order for the laptop. I can't wait to get it but I'm not sure when I'll be notified. =/
Finally yesterday, I went for work. It was my first morning shift in a very long time. My arms were trembling when I lifted the plates cuz of badminton the previous day. I carried 8 bowls of soup for the 1st time. Lol! Later on, JJ, Ramien and Cheng Da came by. Poor JJ was pai ka..-.- So we went to look for a present for James's 1 mth old baby. Now 4 teens staring blankly at the diaper section, what would ppl think? LOL! Cheng Da did the honour of carrying it around. Hahaa! xP We bought a card and got everybody around to sign on it. I went home to change and left for Sentosa to meet Ping, Sam, Joel, Jon and Josh. I was late partly cuz some guide told me to take the tram to underwaterworld when I could hv taken the 100X faster blue-line bus. -.- So I went for a joyride annddd...ended up whr I started. =.=" On the tram, 2 guys asked for my number but I quickly told them "no, sorry." Lol! Bleahh~ And they got off the next stop. Haha! If they were ang mohs, I would hv considered. LOL!!! =X The new musical fountain extravagant was spectacular, albeit the storyline was dumb. The effects made up for it. Besides the expected water, laser, and music, there were ppl acting and fire balls to heat things up. lol! Everything was combined and it ended with a bang. Nice~ After that, we had dinner at Carl's Jr. The portions like what Sam said, weren't 'junior' at all!! We took the MRT home. Joel and I took it to Clementi. Jon asked Joel to accompany me back in a cab and we talked all the way to my doorstep. I hope he had enough remaining $ to get home. Hehe.. =)
I've changed quite considerably over the past few yrs. Ever since I started sec sch, I've learned to talk more. And even more as the yrs went by. I'm also more comfortable around strangers as compared to last time. An interesting thing is when I meet my former classmates or schoolmates, I speak more to them now than I used to when we were together before. I'm sure when I enter poly, I will be forced to speak out more often. Must be confident!! RaAhh!!!!
I saw something familiar and was reminded of the past. Then I thought of the present and realised how dumb I was. *clouts myself on the head* So obvious!! lol!

I made a pact with dad. He wants me to pay for him when he dines in cartel. I agreed but asked him to pay for my lap top. I will pay the amount for upgrading though. Dad didn't agree. =/"lose the deal and lose ur daughter" - Kimberly David's most outrageous statement. LOL! Come 'n I was just kidding! I'm sure Dad was too! =D
I'm gonna check out stuffs in Sentosa. Probably gonna book a chalet around August or Sept during my bday or sis's and dad's. I've been spending time with friends so much I miss my family outings. I miss cramming in the car for a 4-hr journey to malacca. =/
I collected my testimonial from the office. I better not type it out cause no. 1: I'm lazy. No. 2: may cause hysterical laughter or puking.

On Monday, Bro went to ICA building to extend his passport expiry date. So qiao, my friend asked me to follow him to extend his passport too. But I didn't know till I woke up and found my bro already gone. Nv wait for me..eesh. Now he's in Hong Kong enjoying shopping and good food. =((( *miss***
I've decided...to shave my head. HAHA! Joking la...I'm not Britney pls. I've decided to stop work next sunday. Need a break. There'll be lots of camps too. On that subject, will yall be going for the camp/s? One go, all go! *wink*
I had wanted to blog ytdy but I was seriously tired. Thursday was great! ^^ Waking up early and having red eyes was worth it. Bean's holiday was so crappy! Sarah, Jo and I got scolded by the old cleaners for walking when they were mopping the floor. Damn funny. But there was no other way so bo pian. Jo did the usual - spilling food(popcorn) and picking them up
At work, I was the DR (Duty Runner) cum host. I hope I will nv get the chance to be DR during weekend nights. HAHA!
On Friday, I played badminton with Rayne, Ric and Bao Zhi. The rest couldn't join us. =( Ice skating will be on another day.
Mom's back is getting better! ^^

- 22/3, Thursday, Santha's Bday. Go to school and surprise her??- Settle ice skating. Either on wed, thurs or fri.

- Decide when to quit. At 1st I thought of trying till dec. Then I reduced it to working till 2 weeks of sch meaning till end of apr. Later I decided maybe quit on apr 13, the week b4 sch starts. Now I'm thinking of quitting earlier to rest and prepare for a week. I need to seek elderly advise!!...from my parents of course. Lol! I asked many ppl including those at my workplace. It's hard working and studying at the same time, plus I do not need to earn my own pocket money right now. And if I choose to work only during the hols, I'll have a lot to catch up on since Cartel makes changes every month! My dad's offering me a better job - $100 a day? Depends on how hardworking I am. Can do it anytime I want too, with my bros.

My hectic week is ALMOST over~ I shall TRY to be more organised and straight-to-the-point in this post.
Monday: work
Tuesday: work
Wednesday: Sentosa with Sam, Ping, Tim, Jon, Josh and Joel. Sentosa has come alive once again. Lots of changes. The Sgp version of Che-ju Island. Beautiful! I got tanned a bit playing volleyball. Not as black as some ppl though. LOL! Just kidding. No names..no worries! HAHA! There's blue-black bruises all over my lower arm cuz of internal injury. Jon's so 'kindly' offered to amputate my arms for me. I wanna spend more time there!! By now, only Ping knows whr I'm working and he knows my butch-supervisor! Small world. Connections are made that easily. haha! He's still the most down-to-earth person in the group. Haha!
Thursday: Plans to catch a movie with Jo and Sarah were cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (Such a convenient phrase! Hahaha!). Had initially thought of staying back at home to rest since my arms were quite aching and my mom needed help with stuffs. Then B teo smsed to ask for advise on what to give his mom for her birthday. At last, it ended with 2 lousy road sense ppl going down to orchard to shop. -.-" Go figure. We got a bit lost but managed to find our way quick. And we got really helpful help (-.-) from a sales lady. We settled for a save set of jewellery (necklace and earrings) which had his mom's favourite colour. I myself liked it la! Hehehe! It was save since it wasn't too heavy, neither was it too plain. Suitable for formal occasions, yet suitable for her when she goes to the office. Suits the clothes she wears too. Weehehe! We hv good taste! Lol! Later, we went to get an mp3 for her too since she was talking (maybe hinting) abt it recently. Hahaha! After settling the present, we had to settle our stomachs. We went to Giraffe near PS for dinner. It was whr his cousin worked at. He gave us a 10% discount too. Nice guy! =) I didn't know the place was so high class! =S Then B Teo told me abt what he had asked Anand to blog about. So funny la! Lol!! To cut the long story short, the trip was fruitful. His mom loved the present. Woohoo!
Friday: I woke up at 1.30, met Yin Lin, Lester, Vishal, Bonner and Vivien. Played a bit of pool. Saw Andrew and Meng Yit there too! ^^ I left for Sgp Symphony Orchestra concert (SSO) at RP's cultural hall. It was more like ISO (International Symphony Orchestra) since there were so many 'ang mohs' and Japanese-like ppl in the orchestra. The theme was 'Magic' so they played Harry Potter's main song and many other familiar pieces. *Awestruck* The conductor's young and charming!! LOL! Looks like wolverine with that hairstyle!!! HAHA! He's borned in Sgp but based in St Petersburg, Russia. They're gonna perform beside CWP on Sunday too! Go catch it. Even if u're not the classical music type, go meet wolverine in person at least. Lol! xD Anyway RP's hall is as good or better than Esplanade's hall. I finally met Stef again after weeks of my busy schedule and her mahjong-madness during the CNY period. =D Stef: HV A SPEEDY RECOVERY! Play badminton soon! =B Dr Loke gave us front row VIP seats! WOOOHOOO! So nice of him! =D I met Priscilla and Aunty Nancy. Surprised to see them there too! The concert was superb. This 13 yr old girl who is Dr Loke's friend's niece performed the violin solo with the whole orchestra to back her up. Truely talented! I shall not go into the details of her achievements. Good in studies (RGS), talented (violin and piano), plays sports as well...guys, interested? Lol! She's gonna be famous and I can brag that I watched her first performance, and that I am somehow connected to her - My friend's lecturer's friend's niece. LOL!! Anyway after the concert, D.L., Stef and I went to have dinner. We tossed coins several times just to decide where to eat. We landed up in Swensens and played a few rounds of bluff AGAIN. LOL! =X We left CWP just in time to catch the last few buses home. I took a quick shower, charged my hp, and went to join Vien and Shi Pei at YL's house. So fun!~~ All-girl's night. We talked and played mahjong (card version), dai dee, bridge (I didn't know they knew!!!). It was really fun catching up. So much to share! I miss gg to the canal with YL. LOL! Used to play block catching with her neighbours. Feeling nostalgic once again. Ahh.. time flew fast. We chatted till 5am, slept till 9am, went to the coffeeshop for breakfast before heading home to get more sleep. I woke up at 4.30 and worked from 7 to 11. Now I'm blogging all this before I forget. =D I had a great week. =D Now I need to reply Nas abt the party in sch by tmrw. I have to chase for the replies again. zzzzzZ. Lucky for my 1000 free smses. =/ Also, should I go Masquerade, Goth, Halloween, Royalty or Punkrock? @.@?
I spent so much on Sakae @ Sentosa, Giraffe and Swensens!!! SOB SOB SOB SOB SOB!! My heart aches when I spend now. Lol! The result of working.
NP enrolment package came! EXCITED!!! *Thump thump* I think I'll settle for a Fujitsu notebook after advice from Stef and Pri sch friends. Just need a cooler. Will 'consult' Tomato. Hehe! WEEEEEE!~~~

JIANG JIANG JIANG JIANG!!!~~~ Jo so funny! Woke me up at 1030 to ask for my NRIC. Dang~ LOL! I couldn't go back to slp cuz of the excitement. About 20 ppl (pri sch friends, classmates, schoolmates and friends) pretty close to me are gg to NP!! A few to NYP, even fewer I know to RP and only one person so far to SP. For the JC ppl, I roughly know too. Here's wishing everyone all the best! ^^ Ahh! I almost forgot the highlight of it all - I did get into BS in NP, my first choice! Haha! Yadaaaa~ =P I felt really really REALLY relieved since I just made the mark. I wasn't so nervous or excited before cuz I wanted to have trust. When Jo told me the results, I couldn't stop smiling. ^_____^ My other choices I had thought abt previously were BAF, TRM and Psy. Luckily I didn't put them, seeing the cut off points so low! Anyway, hope to see Jo, Sarah, Vishal and Su Hui in BS!!! >.<Heroes 18 is coming out! Weeeee~ I'm almost done with Hana kimi. One more episode to go! Jo, don't spoil! Lol! Oh yea, Parts of Sgp shook due to the 6.6 quake in sumatra. RP ppl had to be evacuated. I knew when D.L. msged saying "congrats, even the world moved for u". 0.o what a way to put it sia! Anyway, time to go to work, tata!

Ytdy I was more happy than usual at work cuz of the nice cool weather. The rain didn't stop at all, causing the alfresco area to be full or flies. One customer said to me: There are a lot of flies here. I was thinking to myself: What you want me to do? Shoot them down with rubberbands?? Something which one little boy did after he had finished eating. Lol! >.< No need for pest control services anymore. Hehe! Anyway Ian extended my working hours today to closing time so she could teach me cashiering. =P I got praised by a customer in a feedback form! HAHAHA!Stef said mah jong tiles cost a bomb. Gaahh! =( Zam ball??? Yes? No? =S
