Astronomy

The day after I returned from Vange's:
was dooms day we had astronomy competition. Did last minute discussion with CY, Evan and Sarah on what to bring for the spaceship model making competition. We decided to not prepare and do it last minute. 1st part was MCQ (horrendous). 2nd part was data response (disastrous). And 3rd part, model making! Yay! At the end, we had to do some voting on the 'top 3 best looking models'. I felt Min's team's (CHR #2) model was the most eye-catching. =) We decided on giving funny votes and voted for the 3 least nicest spaceship. We are such un-serious people. In between, they called us for a pyramid game. I must say it was cool! We were breaking up words like what Min's group did only their's was in Chinese, ours in Engish. Here's one I clearly remember:

CY: TYCHO!!!
Anand: 'Brazil' minus the last 3 letters.
CY: HUH??? WHAT THE! beerrraaaa??
Everyone: LOL

Anyway we couldn't 'tahan' anymore and the game hosts were close to tears so they just gave us the point.

Next day (Ya there was a day 2! Je-gi-ral!), they called us all the way down to NTU just to see our results and collect COP. My grp was the "best". Only CY and I went, good for Anand, Evan and Sarah! Cuz it was a total waste of time! We couldn't stand it any longer so we 'zhao[4]' to JP to have lunch. Our neighbour St. Andrews were smarter and one step ahead of us. Met them at the bus stop and kept bumping into them at JP. We left poor old Uma behind...hehe. She supposedly went for a walk while we sneaked off. We'll face the music together so nvm. For all you know, she could have left before us. In the end, it wasn't so bad as we managed to get 7th. Which is an achievement for us lazy ppl who did not even study! BPGH was 1st, RI 2nd, VS 3rd, BPGH 2 4th, VS 2 5th, SCSS 6th and us! Haha! Tycho! All along BPGH, RI and VS would top any astro competitions. And I must say, BPGH consists of arrogant people! Bringing their blazers everytime though the results are not yet out. CY felt like punching them.

Anyway we had fun and that's the most important! =PpP
